The Gatley Club is a full-size sturdy British pool table. The Club is produced entirely in the UK by experienced manufacturers. It comes with free delivery, and we can offer a professional installation that includes a bonus accessory pack. This free play model is value for money and combines excellent strength and durability with stylish looks.

The table comes complete with a 3/4 inch thick slate playing surface, tournament cloth in a range of colours, responsive cushion rubber and professional pockets. It uses full-size 2-inch pool balls and has an internal ball return system which allows the balls to return to one end when potted. The Club is a popular table that is finished with chrome corners, feet and cabinet trim. The sturdy bench-style legs provide a rock-solid frame, which ensures good support to the slate, allowing for a very level playing surface.

This reliable table will provide years of quality pool. It comes in two sizes. Select from the 6ft or 7ft model. Both are official league size tables. The cabinet is finished in 2 hard-wearing laminates, and the cloth colour can be selected from over 25 shades.

Pool Table Warranty

Our range of Gatley pool tables come as standard with a 12-month manufacturers guarantee. The guarantee covers all manufactured parts but does not include the table cloth, which is subject to wear and tear. Once your table is set up and running, there is actually little that can go wrong, and with basic care, it will provide many years of superb pool. Unlike many imported tables, all parts on this model are interchangeable meaning should something go wrong it can be quickly fixed.

High Quality Pool Cloth

This pool table comes fitted with Hainsworth Club pool table cloth. Hainsworth is manufactured in the UK and used in many professional pool events. Club cloth weighs 435gsm and is renowned for excellent playability, durability and is recognised as a great value, good performing cloth.

We can offer a range of standard colours at no extra charge. The Hainsworth Club range comes in Green, Blue, Red and Burgundy colours.

Upgrade to Hainsworth Smart Cloth

We also offer the chance to upgrade your cloth to Hainsworth Smart. This is a premium cloth and is available in a range of colours. An exceptionally high-grade woollen cloth that performs superbly.

Smart cloth weighs 460gsm and is a robust, fast, responsive cloth. A performance cloth that comes in 20 colours and has resistance to fading.

Room Size

Is My Room Big Enough?

It is essential to ensure your table will fit into your room space and allow an enjoyable game. A good rule of thumb is to allow a minimum of 4ft clearance all around your table.

We offer two table sizes in this model. We can provide the more popular 7ft x4ft (external cabinet dimensions) model or if you are more restricted on space the 6ft x 3’6 (external cabinet dimensions) table. Please see our below table guide for recommended room sizes.

 

Recommended Room Space Guide

It is often beneficial to mark out the area where your table is going with four objects to give you a better perspective of the table size. If you are a little short on space, then we can offer a range of smaller cues to use on the tighter shots. We have the following size cues available - 36 inches, 42 inches, 48 inches, 54 inches and 57 inches.

Both the 6ft and 7ft tables are classed as league tables although most leagues prefer to play on a 7ft table if space permits. Both size tables provide an enjoyable game. We wouldn’t recommend squeezing a 7ft table into an area that is too small.

It may be helpful to draw a plan of the room and measure it at the nearest points to where your table is intended to stand. Do not measure into bay windows or to the recesses of a fireplace. All large furniture should be outside the measurements.

Finally, if your table has to go upstairs, we will require photos or preferably a video to ensure access is possible. We rarely have a failed install, but if there are any impossible turns or inadequate access, then we can review this and try to offer alternative options for you.

Delivery

When Will I Get My Table.

Our pool tables are delivered throughout the UK by our own two-man professional fitting teams. This gives us excellent flexibility in delivery and timings.

The delivery lead time on this table is approximately 12 weeks. We can sometimes surprise and deliver a little quicker if we have stock or can get the table sooner from the manufacturers. We are located close to all the leading manufacturers, which allow us to collect your table the moment it comes off the production line. Many of our competitors are located further afield and will wait for several tables to be ready before making their collection. So for speedy delivery, we have the edge.

Two options are available when it comes to delivery.

Delivery Only

We will deliver your pool table door to door, and to the ground floor room of your choice, free of charge. Tables are delivered by a two-man delivery team and usually come in 3 parts. The legs, slate and cabinet are all separate and do require assembling and levelling. Please bear in mind however that most slate bed pool tables weigh 200kg+ and you would need adequate numbers of people to handle the table safely. Installation would be at your own risk.

Delivery with Installation

We do, however, strongly recommend that you take up the offer of our professional delivery and installation service at the extra cost of £99 Inc. VAT, which includes full installation, table positioning, levelling, after-sales care instruction, and a bonus pack of additional accessories that are worth up to £90. Slate bed pool tables can weigh up to 250 kgs (550lbs) and moving and handling them takes knowledge and expertise. Our two-person team of professional fitters can take away the strain, worry and hard work and leave your table perfect and ready to play.

Basement and Upper floor delivery and installations incur a surcharge. Delivery to more remote areas of the country including Cornwall and the North of Scotland are subject to a delivery surcharge. Please contact us for more details.
