Aim:

 The course is designed for use in various industries such as docks, engineering, and construction

etc. It has been designed for novices and experienced personnel who are required to move loads by use of various lifting equipment i.e. mobile, ship to shore, shore to ship, overhead gantry and tower cranes etc. It is recommended that when placing Learners on the course that experienced and novice operators are not placed on course together as the level of explanation will depend on the prior knowledge the Learners have.

 

The course is aimed to teach/refresh theoretical knowledge and practical use to Learners who are required to sling and move loads by various methods and are required to use different lifting techniques and tackle, to do the job safely and efficiently ensuring the reduction in injuries, damages and downtime.

 Objective:
