Rioja or Tempranillo originates from Spain. Tempranillo is Spain's best red wine and is typically labelled by its regional name. The most famous being La Rioja. Typical flavours are a dry fruity wine with notes of cherry, dried figs and cedar, it is medium-full bodied with high acidity and plenty of tannin astringency.

Cellar 7 Spanish Rojo is an entry level all juice kit. No additional sugar is required during fermentation. It is our best value kit at this level.

This home-brew kit displays all the typical flavour characteristics of a Roja, offering incredible value for money.

It can also be used as a base for country wines. It goes particularly well with dark fruits, like cherries or Blackcurrant.
