Vinbrite Wine Filter Kit

The initial Vinbrite wine filter was created in 1966.
Since that time, this filter kit has regularly been renovated to keep at the vanguard of home wine and spirit filtration.

As a result, Vinbrite has now achieved a much faster flow rate and at the same time producing an increased throughput of filtered wine due to the inclusion of a venting system for the filter body.

There are three pads available for the Vinbrite, the Premium grade CrystalBrite, Fine grade Filtabrite and coarse grade Prime Pads (which will help remove sticky particles that would block filter pads) and all are incredibly efficient when compared to any other wine filtering media.

The Vinbrite instruction express that winemakers make sure that fermentation is finished before filtering.
If gas bubbles are seen going up the transfer tube, this shows that the wine is still fermenting.
If this is the cases, filtering should be halted and the wine allowed to ferment out thoroughly.

However, winemakers are often eager and will often attempt to filter young wines.
When filtering and handling wine, minute gas bubbles may be released as the wine is moved resulting in a back pressure boost in the filter body, this can also affect the performance of filtering.
The revised filter kit has now been designed to enable the winemaker to release any trapped air whilst filtering via the vent tube and tap.

The updating of this unique filter kit will keep the Vinbrite to the forefront of home wine filtration and will enable winemakers to filter wine more quickly to professional standards.
