The Razorback IPA - Festival Home-Brew Beer Kit 

has the strength of a traditional IPA. It is also bursting with strong hop characteristics, typical of the modern IPA. A dry bitter finish is provided by the unique blend of hops together with distinct flavours of pine needles and fruit punch.

Hop Additions: SIMCOE, CENTENNIAL, SUMMIT

Bitterness: 5 (0-Least to 5-most bitter)

ABV: 5.7%

The Festival Razorback IPA home-brew kit is a pale, straw-coloured ale with a white head. It has beautiful aromas of fresh nectarines with underlying tones of pine needles. It is bursting with bold hop character, including flavours of pine needles and fruit punch, followed by a dry bitter finish.

Equipment Needed :You will require basic brewing equipment to make a beer kit

Here is a simple starter kit to allow you to make the beer if you have not already got brewing equipment

Below is a list of the essential equipment needed to make a beer kit

Fermenting Bin 25 ltrs + - To ferment the beer in

Pressure Barrel or Pet Bottles, two packs enough for 5 gallons of beer - To Store and condition the beer ready for drinking

Syphon Equipment - To aid in moving the beer from the fermenter to the barrel or bottles

Hydrometer - Used To Measure the gravity of the beer when it starts and finishes

LCD Thermometer - Sticks on the fermenting bin to help you get the right brewing temperature 16oC - 24oC is best for beer

Steriliser: Not equipment, but keeping all equipment clean and sterilised when used is essential.

Water: Beer is made from 95% water. Tap water will be fine; filtering is better to remove the chlorine will help give you the best result.
