Festival Belgian Pale Ale - Home Brewing Kit

Taste: Spicy yeast character & rich malt sweetness are both satisfying & refreshing.

Festival Belgian Pale Ale: Pale gold yellow with a big fluffy white head and blend of cloves and bananas to showcase this Belgian Pale Ale. 5.5% ABV. 

  • The Aroma is Spicy cloves and bananas with a sweet malt character.
  • It has rich malt sweetness and spicy yeast character. 
  • Styrian golding hops 
  • Belgian Pale Ale makes 40 pints of approx 5.5% beer.

Festival Premium World Beer Kits. 

They include 

  • two pouches (making3kg) of premium brewers grade liquid malt extract, hopped for bitterness 
  •  A 10g sachet of brewers yeast. 
  •  A sachet of hop pellets made up of appropriate mixed varieties of hops to create the right beer style 
  •  A measured pack of priming sugar.

Equipment Needed :You will require basic brewing equipment to make a beer kit

Here is a simple starter kit to allow you to make the beer if you have not already got brewing equipment

Below is a list of the essential equipment needed to make a beer kit

Fermenting Bin 25 ltrs + - To ferment the beer in

Pressure Barrel or Pet Bottles, two packs enough for 5 gallons of beer - To Store and condition the beer ready for drinking

Syphon Equipment - To aid in moving the beer from the fermenter to the barrel or bottles

Hydrometer - Used To Measure the gravity of the beer when it starts and finishes

LCD Thermometer - Sticks on the fermenting bin to help you get the right brewing temperature 16oC - 24oC is best for beer

Steriliser: Not equipment, but keeping all equipment clean and sterilised when used is essential.

Water: Beer is made from 95% water. Tap water will be fine; filtering is better to remove the chlorine will help give you the best result.
