Description
- Varietal D (High acid fruits eg. Gooseberry/Rhubarb). Sachet for 1-5 gallon.
- Gervin GV11: German Strain.
- This fast fermenting yeast, which produces proper levels of glycerol, has two particular characteristics.
- Muntons GV11 Gervin Wine Yeast produces exceptionally fruity wines with an elegant bouquet, especially reds in the Beaujolais style.
- Secondly, it can metabolise up to 30% of any malic acid present in the must.
- Thus making the yeast very useful when the fruit base e.g. apples, gooseberries, rhubarb may be over acid, with a high percentage of malic acid.
