Fuggle hops were once the most foremost variety in the UK. First grown by Richard Fuggle in England in 1861 and released commercially in 1875.
Fuggle is also grown in Washington and Oregon, but the USA version is milder than the UK version.
Mostly used for aroma and flavour.
