Northern Brewer is a cross between Canterbury Golding and a male seedling of Brewer's Gold.
Now grown in Belgium, Spain, USA, and it is one of the popular hop leafs produced in Germany.
Primarily used for bittering due to its high Alpha content. Chinook is a possible substitute.
