This speciality grain is the palest of all roasted malts
The malt roasted at a lower temperature to keep the diastatic enzymes.
The dry taste of roasted amber malt is an excellent complement to bitter hoppiness, making it an excellent addition to IPAs.
Although made manly in Belgium, it is fundamental when recreating traditional English beers.
Amber malt is traditionally used in medium to dark English beers, mainly brown, mild, and old ale.
It has a high biscuity, toasted grain flavour and imparts amber and copper hues.
