BLACK MALT CRUSHED GRAIN 500g FOR BEER BREWING

Black Malt as the name suggests used in the brewing of darker beers such as milds, stouts and porters
Produced by roasting British Pale Malt as far as possible without burning.
Black malt should be used sparingly (no more than 5% of total malt content of your brew) as it has a robust burnt coffee flavour.
It is the preferred darkener in sweeter Stouts and Porters and used for minor colour adjustments in other beers.

Colour 1400 EBC; Maximum percentage 10%
