Thomas Fawcett Flaked Maize grain obtained from corn kernels, this cereal gives a subtle corn taste to beer if used prudently.
Its use is valuable for clearing purposes due to its low nitrogen content.
Flaked Maize also used in the production of lagers, and it can mix with the lighter malts.
Flaked Maize should be used sparingly (no more than 10% of total malt content of your brew).
This grain has a colour of between 2.5 and 3.5 EBCs
