  • Copper brown colour with red hues & a thick, creamy head. 
  • Pleasant floral aroma with a blend of toasty/sweet malt flavours and a firm bitter finish.
  • Produced from premium 2-row barley grown in South Australia (northwest of Adelaide ), 
  • These are some of the world's finest malting barley regions.

  •  A taste that will have you transported back to the early 1800s. 
  • Ready to drink in around two weeks, but the flavour will improve over three months.
  • Add 500g of brewing sugar, light spraymalt or Beer Kit Enhancer to achieve the intended strength and flavour. 
  • Like many beer kits, it is possible to experiment with the addition of spraymalt, liquid malt extract or additional hops. 
  • Full brewing instructions are printed on the reverse of the label.
  • You will require essential brewing equipment to make the kit and a pressure barrel or beer bottles for the final storage and conditioning.
  • Cooper's Australian beers are simple to brew, producing great beer every time. 
  • Coopers English Bitter Beer may be served slightly less chilled if desired.

Equipment Needed :You will require basic brewing equipment to make a beer kit

Here is a simple starter kit to allow you to make the beer if you have not already got brewing equipment

Below is a list of the essential equipment needed to make a beer kit

Fermenting Bin 25 ltrs + - To ferment the beer in

Pressure Barrel or Pet Bottles, two packs enough for 5 gallons of beer - To Store and condition the beer ready for drinking

Syphon Equipment - To aid in moving the beer from the fermenter to the barrel or bottles

Hydrometer - Used To Measure the gravity of the beer when it starts and finishes

LCD Thermometer - Sticks on the fermenting bin to help you get the right brewing temperature 16oC - 24oC is best for beer

Steriliser: Not equipment, but keeping all equipment clean and sterilised when used is essential.

Water: Beer is made from 95% water. Tap water will be fine; filtering is better to remove the chlorine will help give you the best result.
