The grapes for this wine are primarily sourced from the cool coastal climates in Mendocino and Sonoma. Mendocino lends jammy raspberry flavours while Sonoma adds the cassis element. Eight months ageing in oak adds complexity and softness to the Zinfandel that is often considered the signature red grape of California.
