Introducing the New EcoGlow Safety 600 chick brooder from Brinsea, a truly efficient way to keep your newly hatched poultry, game and waterfowl chicks warm and safe.

The new EcoGlow safety 600 brooder is the new and improved version of the popular EcoGlow 20 model. Brinsea has made some adjustments to the design to improve usability and effectiveness of the brooder while keeping the costs low.

Below is a list of the main changes and benefits;

• A new flared 'skirt' around the heater retains more heat, improving efficiency and reducing energy use.
• The height of the brooder is now adjusted by twisting the legs to make it higher or lower, this makes it quicker and easier than the previous model, whilst giving you a vast variety of height variations.
• New and improved heater plate, this improves the heat radiation and evenness of the temperature.
• The new EcoGlow safety range now comes in three different sizes.

The EcoGlow safety 600 is ideal for keeping newly hatched poultry, game and waterfowl warm for those crucial first few days and weeks and is suitable for up to 20 chicks. The low voltage heater panel warms the chick directly by contact and radiant heat. It is more cost friendly than a conventional infrared lamp, using around 5% of the electricity of what a 250-watt suspended lamp would cost, which is important when keeping chicks warm 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Contact with the EcoGlow 600 is a more natural way of raising chicks than a heat lamp. It avoids the stress of being an under a light both day and night, it gives the chicks the ability to get used to natural light changes of night and day, which also improves weight gain and feather growth.

The new EcoGlow Safety range has three different size versions. The EcoGlow Safety 600, EcoGlow Safety 1200 and the EcoGlow Safety 2000, Whilst on the previous model you only had the EcoGlow 20 and EcoGlow 50 to choose from.
