“The Vagina Monologues” is written by Eve Ensler and portrays the experiences of women through a collection of episodic monologues and dialogues. The original play first premiered in the United States in 1996. Since then, it has been run at various universities and theatres across the world. “The Vagina Monologues” was written following interviews conducted with many women about their views on sex, relationships, and violence against women.

This 20th Anniversary performance by new Howden based Theatre Company - Cast in Stone Productions - features a cast of local and invited actors. For anyone who isn't scared to share a laugh with us as we talk about stuff that might make you blush, laugh or even cry - we certainly promise to make you think! Everyone will be made to feel very welcome but please note the mature content and language of the piece may make this performance unsuitable for those under 16. Parental guidance is advised.
