Always looking to add to our range of fruit liqueurs we tried a new recipe of steeping locally grown gooseberries into sugar and distilled dry gin. The result when left for 9 months is a smooth and exceptionally fruity gin, with a lovely golden colour.
It is recommended to be mixed with Apple & Elderflower Yorkshire Tonic and ice. It also works well with sparkling elderflower champagne, or for a really warming drink, try combining it with Southern Comfort.
If you were in any doubt as to whether you will like the taste of this liqueur, rest assured the judges who awarded it a Gold Star in The 2018 Great Taste Award liked it.
