Gooseberry Gin Jam

A delicious addition to the range of Raisthorpe preserves is Gooseberry Gin Jam made from gooseberries steeped in Raisthorpe Gin and sugar.  Try it as a treat at breakfast time on toast or with scones and cream for an alternative Yorkshire Cream Tea.

If you are in any doubt as to whether you might like this jam, the judges of the 2018 Great Taste Awards thought it worthy of a gold star.

Ingredients: Sugar, Gooseberries (42%), Liqueur (3%), Lemon Juice (from concentrate).  Gelling Agent: Pectin, Citric Acid. No Gluten containing ingredients.  Prepared with 43g fruit per 100g.  Total sugar content 69g per 100g
