A 1400mAh high capacity NiMh battery to replace the discontinued low capacity NiCd Motorola battery.

Because this battery is twice the capacity of the original it is much less prone to overcharging if left in the charger longer than the recommended 14 hours. It will also last twice as long if charged for 28 hours from flat. If you are using it on a daily basis we recomend you charge it overnight as per the Motorola instructions. As with all simple non-intelligent chargers avoid charging the radio longer than overnight.
