The K1V-1116 strain tends to enhance the freshness of white grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Seyval.
It is the wine yeast strain most resistant to overcoming any severe fermentation condition such as low temperature.
Lalvin All Purpose Wine Yeast K1V1116 will still produce fresh floral-fruity esters in your wine.
K1V1116 has been proven to ferment as low as 16C.
