After the Zinfandel grapes are harvested, a “cap and drain” method is used which allows the wine to be in contact with the skins for 6 hours before pressing. It gives the wine a darker colour as well as extracting a greater amount of fruit flavours which is evident in the ripe watermelon, strawberry and cherry that is experienced on the palate. This wine is a medium, sweet rose and has a balance of floral character, sweetness and crisp acidity.
