Product Information

Legend has it that Di Saronno has a lineage dating back to the Italian Renaissance period. In 1525 artist Bernardino Luini - a pupil of Leonardo da Vinci - was commissioned to paint a fresco of Madonna of the Miracles in Saronno. He chose a beautiful local innkeeper as his muse and as a mark of her gratitude she prepared a special gift of a flask full of an amber liqueur. Made from a combination of secret ingredients this warm, fragrant liquid became what is now known as Di Saronno, an ameretto liqueur equally satisfying on it`s own or as part of a cocktail - even try it in hot tea.
