Covid has, as you'll understand, presented us with more than a few challenges, but we are determined to deliver an event that is as 'Covid secure' as we can make it in the circumstances.  

What won't change is the quality of the food and drink and the amazing festive atmosphere in the Shire Hall.  We will however need to take a different approach to the organisation of the event. 

The biggest change will be a reduction in the number of people that are brought in to help - the less people we have in the room the less chance there is of transmission to our elderly and vulnerable clients.

We also operate a delivery service for people who are isolating or wary of coming out at the moment - and can organise lifts to and from the Shire Hall

If regulations change and we can’t get together in person then we will deliver the meals to people in their own homes.

We are funding Christmas & Company this year in partnership with Howden Helpers  (who still have some money in the bank from fundraising during the pandemic) but we will be opening a JustGiving page for anyone who wishes to contribute.

As has been the case in the past, any surplus after the event costs are covered will be donated to the Goole Food Bank to help feed families into the new year - in 2018 and 2019 your generosity enabled us to donate in excess
