Produced from grapes grown in on the EL JARILLAL ESTATE 3444 feet (1050 meters) above sea level situated in the Alto Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza area. This very steep sided vineyard enjoys cool fresh air at night and very good sunshine, helping to poduce grapes with great aromatic intensity and rich flavours.
FERMENTATION PROCESS
The harvest takes place at the beginning of April, with grapes then undergoing low temperature fermentation to protect the aromas and help produce a clean fresh style of wine. The acidity is corrected in order to maintain a high aromatic intensity and freshness in the mouth with 10% of the wine undergoing spontaneous malolactic fermentation, to give a nicely rounded mouth feel
TASTING NOTES
Greenish yellow in colour with aromas and flavours of citrus fruits such as lime, accompanied by floral notes of jasmine, roses and orange blossom. A clean fresh style of Torrontes, very elegant and with a long finish.
